The Office of the Ombudsman and Rwanda Initiative for Sustainable Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Tuesday 19th/01/2010 at the Office of the Ombudsman based in Kimihurura sector, held ceremonies of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Office of the Ombudsman and the Rwanda Initiative for Sustainable Development (RISD). The agreement aims to cooperate in resolving disputes issues related to land which occurred mainly after the adoption of the new Law governing the land in Rwanda.

The Ombudsman of Rwanda Mr Tito RUTAREMARA said the partnership will enable the Office of the Ombudsman to resolve more of the many complaints it receives orders land regularly.

On Friday 08 th January 2010 at the headquarters of Transparency Rwanda based in Kimironko sector held the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between the Office of the Ombudsman and Transparency Rwanda on the commitment of both institutions to work together in the fight against injustice and corruption. Somalia delegation visit the Office of the Ombudsman

On Friday 4 th December 2009 the Office of the Ombudsman received the delegation of Somalia Government. They visited Rwanda because they come to see the step which our Government has attended fifteen years (15) after the Genocide of Tutsi.
The Ombudsman of Rwanda explained them the origin of the Office of the Ombudsman and how we fight against injustice and corruption in our country.
