| FOLLOW UP OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS GIVEN BY THE OFFICE OF THE OMBUDSMAN IN ITS REPORT 2009-2010 |

In accordance with article 182 of the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04/06/2003, as amended to date and the Law n° 25/2003 of 15/08/2003 as modified and completed by Law n°17/2005 of 18/8/2005 establishing the organization and functioning of the Office of the Ombudsman, its article 3 especially in its paragraph 12 which empowers the Office of the Ombudsman the attribution of advising the public and private institutions regarding the improvement of quality services delivered to the citizens;
Among the given recommendations inlude:
In following up those recommendations, the Office of the Ombudsman visited some ministries which have in their attributions the implementation of the above recommendations namely MIFOTRA, MINALOC, MINECOFIN, MINAGRI, MININFRA and MINIRENA. This activity will continue with the districts that are mentioned in the report and they include Nyabihu, Rulindo, Burera, Musanze and others. |
