On 26 th May 2012, the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman joined the citizens of Kanyinya sector , Taba cell in the monthly community work programme commonly known as “Umuganda” .

In the remarks made by the ACTING CHIEF OMBUDSMAN Mr. NZINDUKIYIMANA AUGUSTIN in the short meeting after “umuganda”, he called upon Kanyinya citizens to bear the culture of reporting corruption practices and to be the eyes of the Office of the Ombudsman whenever they witness the injustice and misuse of public finance.

Present at the event were also Rwanda Bureau of Standards, National Election Commission, Kigali Health Insitute, Rwanda Biomedical Center and Mr. PRICE which enable the staff of those institutions to exchange information on their work.
