Dr. Tito RUTAREMARA was born in 1944 in Rwanda. He did his Primary and half Secondary School in Rwanda. He continued his Secondary School in Uganda, where he even studied his University. He did his Master’s Degree in Geography in France. He did his PhD in Rural and Urban Planning in France (Clermont Fervand).

He taught in Primary, Secondary and University. From 1987-1993 he was the Secretary General of Rwandese Patriotic Front (RPF). In 1994-2000 was a Member of Parliament.
In 2000-2003 was the Chairman of the Legal & Constitutional Commission. Whereas, in
the year 2003 up to now he is the National Chief Ombudsman of the Republic of Rwanda.
DEPUTY OMBUDSMAN: NZINDUKIYIMANA Augustin

Mr. Augustin NZINDUKIYIMANA was born on 16 th March 1948 in HUYE District, Southern Province of Rwanda.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and he followed various traings on Business promotion and on row materials trade. He is currently doing his Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA). Professional wise, he has had his carrier in Coffee Sector whereby he held different responsibilities (Head of the Section, Head of Service Department, Director of Coffee Manufacturing Industry).  From 2000 to 2004, he was a Commissioner in the Legal and Constitutional Commission. From March 2006 to December 2006, he was the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Ombudsman. From then up to now he is the Deputy Ombudsman in Charge of Fight against Corruption.
