A Kabona cell resident named NYIRABANDUSHYA praised the strategy and methods the Office of the Ombudsman used to address citizens' grievances.
"I have been involved in a case where my husband had fathered a child outside of our relationship for many years. I persisted in denying the child and my husband accepted him. I went to Abunzi and went to court, but I lost..., but after being advised by the Office of the Ombudsman, I found I wasted my time..., so now I thank the Chief Ombudsman," she said.

Hon. Nirere Madeleine, the Chief Ombudsman
As the Chief Ombudsman Hon. Nirere Madeleine stated in this campaign, she requests that the public should try to address their disputes amicably instead of filing lawsuits.
The Chief Ombudsman said: "I argue the leaders to understand and try to solve the citizens’ complaints rather than sending them to the courts, because it takes a lot of money and time,... we also ask the citizens to report on corruption, provide information about corruption on free tall of the Office of The Ombudsman 199 or sending free messages on 1990."

Hon. Yankulije Odette, the deputy Ombudsman
The Deputy Ombudsman in charge of preventing and fighting injustice Hon. Yankulije Odette and some of the leaders of the Burera District also received the cases of injustice brought to them by the Citizens of the Ruhunde and Nemba Sectors. Some of these issues have been answered, others are left to the District for further follow-up and report to the Office of the Ombudsman. As the Secretary of the Office of the Ombudsman Mr. MBARUBUKEYE Xavier and a team of staff of the Office of the Ombudsman and the District received and resolved complaints in the Kagogo and Kinoni Sectors.
