Minister Inspector General of State Administration of The Republic of Angola and his delegation had discussions with Chief Ombudsman of Rwanda

On Wednesday August 11, 2021, Dr. Sebastião D. Gunza, Minister Inspector General of State Administration of The Republic of Angola and his delegation accompanied by Ambassador of Angola to Rwanda Excellence Ambassador Eduardo Octavio had discussions with Chief Ombudsman of Rwanda, Deputy Ombudsmen and Officials from The office of The Ombudsman.


The discussions were in line of how Rwanda implemented Rwanda’s Anti-Corruption Policy, the practices and measures which have been put in place by the Government of Rwanda to prevent and fight against corruption.
Chief Ombudsman of Rwanda Honorable NIRERE Madeleine told the Minister Dr. Sebastião and his delegation that The Government of Rwanda has undertaken a number of Anti-corruption and Anti-injustice measures and this was coupled with immense political will of zero tolerance to corruption.
She said: “Rwanda is doing well in fighting Corruption and Injustice and this is the results of the best Leadership of H.E Paul Kagame, the President of the Republic of Rwanda who promoted the policy of zero Tolerance to Corruption”.
 

Honorable Dr. Sebastião D. Gunza, Minister Inspector General of State Administration of The Republic of Angola and his delegation appreciated the great work done by the Office of The Ombudsman.

Dr. Sebastião commended the best practices learned from Rwanda’s experience especially Strategies and Measures taken by the Rwandan Government to prevent and fight against corruption.
