NYAMAGABE: The Office of The Ombudsman asked the citizens to adopt family based dispute resolution
From 12th to 16th December 2022, The Office of the Ombudsman conducted the Anti-Injustice Campaign in all sectors of Nyamagabe District. The Chief Ombudsman Hon. Nirere Madeleine and her Deputy Ombudsman in Charge of Preventing and Fighting Corruption Hon. Mukama Abbas and other staff from the Office of The Ombudsman participated in this campaign where with the Nyamagabe District Officials received complaints from the citizens.

In launching the campaign, The Chief Ombudsman Nirere Madeleine urged the citizens to play their part in preventing and fighting injustice and corruption. She also urged them to settle their conflicts in a family and other mechanisms and Institutions in place before opting to court proceedings.

Some of the complaints received were settled while others were given deadline to be resolved by the District Administration.
