PAKISTAN: The delegation from Pakistan commended Rwanda's progress in fighting corruption

On this Friday, August 19th 2022, the Office of the Ombudsman received the delegation from the government of Pakistan on the study tour to Rwanda.

The delegation led by the Ambassador of Pakistan in Rwanda, H.E Amir Muhammad Khan, came to learn about Rwanda on various sectors including how Rwanda is dealing with the crime of corruption, especially considering the measures put in place to fight it.

This delegation commended the Office for the knowledge acquired

This group was explained how the Office of the Ombudsman was established, the authority of the Office of the Ombudsman, the national anti-corruption policy, the anti-corruption measures, the challenges and the 2050 vision that Rwanda will be the first in the world in fighting against corruption.

The Chief Ombudsman, Hon. Nirere Madeleine thanked this delegation from Pakistan for choosing to come to Rwanda to learn how to fight corruption. He also thanked the ambassadors for accompanying the delegation and assured them that Rwanda is ready to continue helping them to establish solid measures to prevent and fighting corruption in their country.
