Southern Province: The Office has done the follow up of the citizens’ unsolved complaints

The Office of the Ombudsman has followed up the complaints in different districts of the Southern province
In the line of solving citizen complaints filed to the Office of the Ombudsman, the Office has done a follow up to different cases from 13th to 17th Sept 2021
Amongst these complaints were those received during Anti-injustice campaigns and those filed through writings and were received during 2020-2021 fiscal year.
These cases were given to the citizens’ respective districts for the reliable solutions.
In the southern Province, the deputy Ombudsman Hon. Yankulije Odette with other staff from the office have followed up complaints from Nyanza, Huye, Gisagara and Nyaruguru districts whereby many of the complaints were still unsolved but some of them were solved case by case and others given the solution line with the collaboration of the districts personnel.
The descent visit to districts was financed by the European Union through the existing collaboration in preventing and fighting corruption and injustice
