On Wednesday August 3rd, 2022, The Chief Ombudsman Nirere Madeleine together with Mayor of Rwamagana District and other Officials followed up and solved complaints lodged by different citizens from Muyumbu Sector. Many of them are land related complaints.

In general, the Mayor of Rwamagana District Mr. MBONYUMUVUNYI Radjab asked the citizens who participated in the community gathering (Inteko y’Abaturage) to avoid conflicts and unnecessary lawsuits.

The Chief Ombudsman warned the citizens to be careful when they buy land, that the sell-buy contract should take place in presence of competent authority and hurry to request for transfer (Mutation) because it has been realised that there are people who sell land more than once.
