The Office of the Ombudsman of Rwanda received the delegation of the Auditor General of Mali which is on the study trip in Rwanda
On 22nd July 2022, The Office of the Ombudsman have received the delegation from The Auditor General's Office in Mali led by M. SAMBA SOUMARE.
The aim iwas to share knowledge on the contribution of the OAG reports in preventing and combating corruption by The Office of the Ombudsman

The Ombudsman Hon. NIRERE Madeleine thanked Mali for its efforts in the fight against corruption
During the talks the members of the delegation had with the Chief Ombudsman Hon. NIRERE Madeleine, they said that they are happy with the way the anti-corruption policy is being implemented in Rwanda. They also took the opportunity to thank His Excellency the President of the Republic Paul Kagame for his political will to fight corruption.

The delegation appreciated the way in which the office of the ombudsman works with other institutions
The Ombudsman took the opportunity to thank the country of Mali for its efforts in coming to learn from Rwanda in various programs. She said: now Africa is in a good time that its countries can learn from each other.
On 25-09-2017 Mali also sent a team from OCLEI [Office Central de Lutte Contre l'Enrichissement Illicite] on this occasion, the chief of the delegation, Mr. Moumouni GUINDO, thanked Rwanda and stressed that the country of Rwanda is a good example for other African countries in the fight against corruption.
