On this Wednesday, 03.08.2022, the Office of the Ombudsman has carried on the program of educating young people studying in universities on the values ​​of combating and fighting injustice and corruption.

This is a program that is in line with planning the future of Rwanda in the direction of Vision 2050 where Rwanda will have people with positive values ​​that will help to become the first country in the world in fighting corruption.

After teaching the students of ULK Nyanza University, on Wednesday, the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman educated the students of Gitwe University in Ruhango district, University of Kigali - Musanze branch, and College of Agriculture ,Animal sciences and Veterinary Medicine (UR-CAVM) located in Musanze district.  

The head of Gitwe University, Mr. RWANDEMA Joseph, thanked the Office of The Ombudsman  for doing a great job of teaching Rwandans to have healthy values.

Amongst other teachers who contributed during the session, Prof. NYAGAHENE Antoine has asked the youth to have values ​​that is taught to them by the good leadership . He also commended the establishment of the Office of the Ombudsman. He added that not only in Rwanda, but also abroad, the Office of the Ombudsman does a great job.

In general, 537 ( University of Gitwe: 168, UoK- Musanze: 130, UR-CAVM: 239)  students who were taught this Wednesday by the Office of the Ombudsman. They were happy with the teaching activity of the Office of the Ombudsman and decided to become good leaders in the future.
