Northern Province: Rulindo and Gicumbi Districts citizens’ unsolved complaints were followed up by the Office of The Ombudsman

From 13th to 17th September 2021, The Permanent Secretary of The Office Mr. MBARUBUKEYE Xavier and his team have visited Rulindo and Gicumbi Districts in the follow up of unsolved cases of the citizens of these respective districts.
These unsolved cases were received in the fiscal year 2020-2021 during anti-injustice campaigns and normal ways of complaints filing to the Office.
In Rulindo and Gicumbi districts, complaints are mainly family-based problems among relatives that causes injustice to some of them.
Many of the complaints were solved directly but the remaining ones were given solution lines that will help local administration to get reliable solution and report to the Ombudsman.
This anti-injustice complaints follow up was financed by the European Union in the line of existing collaboration of fighting injustice in Rwanda.
